Join Emergency Physicians from around the state at the 2018 MOCEP Advocacy Day. This event will be held January 24, 2018, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel and Missouri Capitol Building in Jefferson City.

MOCEP leaders and colleagues from across Missouri will gather to discuss advocacy and health policy issues that impact EM and our patients on a daily basis. Learn about the most recent issues in healthcare in Missouri and how to work with your legislators to make a difference.

MOCEP’s governmental consultant team will review hot topics being debated in Jefferson City during the coming term.

After lunch, you and others from your area of the state, will meet with your state Representatives and Senators so YOU can be the voice of emergency medicine in Missouri!

Schedule:

8:15 a.m.       Registration Opens/Breakfast, Capitol Plaza Hotel

9 a.m.            Introduction to Advocacy Day and MOCEP Update
                      Jonathan Heidt, MD, MHA, FACEP, MOCEP President
                      EMRA Welcome

9:45 a.m.       Presentations on Legislative topics

11:30 a.m.     Walk to Capitol Building

11:45 a.m.     Picture at Capitol

Noon             Box Lunches and visit with legislators
