The Coalition to Stop Opioid Overdose

POSTED IN: Advocacy, Featured Advocacy,

ACEP in conjunction with multiple other prominent organizations recently launched the Coalition To Stop Opioid Overdose.  You can see a short clip of ACEP President Jay Kaplan speaking at the meeting.

On May 19, 2016, the Coalition to Stop Opioid Overdose held its inaugural meeting and “call to action” on Capitol Hill. Members and interested organizations were invited to participate in this important and timely event that focused on how the entire community of health care providers, patients, families, first responders and policymakers can come together to bring about prevention, treatment and recovery policies to stop opioid overdose.
