Join Us for the MOCEP Virtual Advocacy Week (no travel needed!)

This year is an important year for Emergency Physicians to reach out to their legislators regarding several issues that have and will impact MOCEP’s members in the future. As physicians on the front line of the COVID pandemic, you have been impacted significantly as you have worked to protect your patients and communities. It is imperative that we get COVID liability protections in place for our members and others that are essential workers. In addition, our state has been the testing ground for downcoding for several years now and MOCEP is fighting to stop insurance companies from further implementing these practices in our state.

We have developed resources for you to use as you reach out to your legislators on these issues, and will hold a kick-off event via Zoom on March 8 at 9:00 a.m. This event will provide background information on the current bills, tips on communicating with your legislators, and allow for Q&A on our priority topics.
