A Voice to Stand Behind

Composed of approximately 500 board certified Missouri Emergency Physicians, MOCEP serves as the voice for emergency physicians practicing in Missouri. While ACEP focuses on national issues important to emergency providers, the Missouri college focuses efforts advocating for concerns important to emergency physicians on the state level.

Valuable Resources

Upon joining MOCEP, members will obtain access to valuable resources provided by the American College of Emergency Physicians, such as the Annals of Emergency Medicine, multiple clinical guidelines and policy statements.

Members will also receive a subscription to EPIC, the official newsletter of MOCEP and will have access to continuous updates on legislative issues in Jefferson City.

Members are included in educational activities throughout the year, on national and state levels, and may receive discounts to meetings and the ACEP bookstore.

Board meetings are open to all members, and while there is no obligation for all to attend, members are highly encouraged to be present, or even join committees, to fully take advantage of all MOCEP has to offer. Members can easily keep up with news and meetings through the MOCEP website, Facebook and Twitter.

Joining the College

Members of MOCEP must also be a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. While the dues for ACEP are fixed, annual dues for MOCEP are comparable to other state chapters and among the lowest in the country. Please visit the ACEP website to join.
