Author Guidelines and Submissions

Thank you for your interest in writing content for an issue of the MOCEP EPIC Newsletter. Our goal is to provide an educational outlet to our members, while showcasing the expertise of our members as contributing authors. We have a few guidelines for anybody wishing to contribute content to our newsletter. Please note, this is not a peer reviewed publication.

  • All content should be original, or can be reprinted if we have permission from the original publication
  • Wordcount: Most articles should be within a 500-1,000 words, but if the article needs to be longer to make it inclusive of necessary materials, we may allow it. Please reach out to us in advance for this exceptions at [email protected].
  • Articles should be unbiased and non-political. If the issue is political, please provide viewpoints/content from all aspects.
  • All articles will be edited but not peer reviewed.
  • Please do not include patient health information
  • All content will be published on www.mocep.org and distributed electronically to members
  • You do not need to be a MOCEP member to contribute content
  • Photos are welcome, but they must be original photos by the author, or the author must get a permission to reprint notice and provide it to MOCEP from the original photographer/artist.
