Legislative Updates

The MOCEP Legislative Committee is excited to begin providing regular updates to our members on our advocacy efforts during the 2025 Legislative Session. Members of the committee will be providing updates every other week through the MOCEP EngagED community. If you are not on the EngagED platform, have unsubscribed from it, or want to make sure you will receive these updates, we have tips below for you. Selecting Your Community Log on to the ACEP EngagED Platform with your ACEP login information. View the communities you belong to by selecting the “communities” tab in the navigation bar. You can view the groups you are already a part of or find new ones by selecting “all communities” and exploring the list. As a MOCEP member, you will automatically have access to the MOCEP community unless you have removed yourself from it. Once you click “join” you will want to select a delivery option for posts.   Your chosen delivery method can be adjusted in your profile anytime under the “My Account” tab. Choose “Community Notifications” from the drop-down menu and adjust your settings. Each discussion can be delivered to you in one of three methods: – The Real Time option will send an email to you every time a new message is posted. – The Daily Digest will consolidate all of the posts from the previous day and send you one email. – No Email allows you to be part of the group without having emails sent to you. You can still post and read others’ messages by logging into the community site. The MOCEP Community exists for more than just legislative updates, and we encourage you to share your thoughts and questions about the legislative issues and start discussions on other topics of interest. Click “Reply to Discussion” to send your message to the entire community or send a private message to the author of the post by selecting “Reply to Sender”.  EngagED allows you to connect, learn, and strengthen your knowledge of Missouri’s legislative process and legislation that may affect you or your patients.
