The next hearing will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, 9:30 a.m. SCR #2
The committee will focus on insurance benefit designs, managing utilization of health care services and heightening patients’ awareness of costs. Testimony will be taken from scheduled witnesses, who will provide recommendations for altering how health care services and products are utilized by consumers, with the goals of improving population health, reducing cost of care and enhancing consumer experience of care.
