The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services issued a waiver of certain Time Critical Diagnosis regulations due to the COVID-19 response. The waiver provides centers designated by the department, or through an alternate pathway, the flexibility to continue their designation while responding to COVID-19. In most cases, the waiver allows hospitals an additional 90 days after the state of emergency has concluded to submit their applications to renew their trauma, stroke and STEMI center designations.
