ACEP20: The Fun Stuff + Top 10 Reasons to Attend

Here are some of the highlights of ACEP20 that were featured in this morning’s edition of EM Today. In addition, below and attached is an email with the top 10 reasons to attend that was sent out today promoting ACEP20. The ACEP20 social schedule has so many options. Make time for fun!

For the educators and social media-savvy: Have you entered the TikDoc Challenge? Submit your educational or just-for-fun videos (under 60 seconds long) for a chance at nearly $2k in prizes.

For the foodies: We’re hosting happy hours every night (25-person limit) with different hosts and DIY cocktails. Join Guac with a Doc to learn how to make Texas-style guacamole and a Paloma with a Dallas chef. Plus, the TODAY show’s Joy Bauer is going to walk you through prepping a delicious and healthy meal.

For the gamers: New tournaments each night! Day 1: Fortnite. Day 2: Call of Duty. Day 3: Valorant. If you’ve already registered for ACEP20 and want to join the video game tournaments, email [email protected].

For the competitive types: Do you have a strong trivia game? Want to dominate the Knowledge Bowl? Bring it on! If you’ve already registered and want to compete in trivia or the Knowledge Bowl, email [email protected].

For the artists: Submit your art, poetry, comedy, etc. for our virtual art gallery, and make sure to include your name and a description of the art. And if you’re into the theater arts, you do not want to miss Theater of War for the Emergency Medicine Community. This is the only ACEP20 event that is not being recorded for future viewings.
