On December 29, ACEP submitted a response to a request for information (RFI) on the regulatory relief that HHS has granted during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The letter to Secretary Azar provides comments on telehealth waivers, discusses the types of service emergency physicians have provided to Medicare beneficiaries, and provides recommendations on E/M code levels, EMTALA telehealth waivers, licensing and credentialing and more.
