With the increased cases of COVID in Missouri and the fear that our hospitals will reach capacity, MOCEP sent a letter to Governor Mike Parson on November 18 asking him to implement a statewide mask mandate. A news release was also released to the media about our letter.
Missouri isn’t the only state in which medical associations are asking their Governor to implement a statewide mask mandate. Dr. Christopher Sampson, President of MOCEP, was recently featured in an article on this issue.
