MOCEP resident members are encouraged to apply for the Bill Jermyn Advocacy Grant if they have an interest in making a difference through advocacy. The Bill Jermyn Advocacy Grant will provide up to $1,000 per EM Residency Program to allow residents with a passion in advocacy to attend the ACEP Leadership and Advocacy Conference (LAC) in Washington, D.C. The total amount reimbursed to each resident will depend on the number of residents selected for the grant. If a residency program only sends one resident, the maximum award will be $500. Grant recipients are responsible for costs above the awarded amount and for any registration fees.

The deadline to apply is December 15, 2021. Residents that are awarded the grant are asked to attend the MOCEP Advocacy Day in Jefferson City, which will be held in March. Recipients will also be asked to write a short article about their experience for the EPIC Newsletter following the LAC.
