The University of Missouri is hosting the 189th Health Ethics Conference on Oct. 5-6, 2022 in Columbia, MO. The conference this year will focus on “Burnout, incivility, and moral injury: Optimizing ethical responses in times of crisis.

The Edmund D. Pellegrino Lecture will be held on Oct. 5 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Missouri Theatre. This lecture will focus on the Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act. Dr. Breen’s brother-in-law, Corey Feist, will share Lorna’s story and the journey to pass the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act. The lecture is open to all, attendance is free, but registration is strongly encouraged.

The Health Ethics Conference will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Hampton Inn & Suites. This event is targeted to all health care providers.
