The Mercy Hospital Joplin Trauma Conference will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023.
Speakers include:
Scotty Bolleter, Department Chair, Centre for Emergency Health Services, What Matters Most, Delivering on the Promise of Emergency Medicine and a Peds talk, Tears from Heaven-Pediatric Assessment and Emergent management.
Dr. Mark Piehl, Pediatric Intensivist from WakeMed Children’s Hospital in Raleigh, NC will be doing two Pediatric trauma talks, which will be very interactive.
Dr. Jeffrey Siegler, EMT-P, EMT-T, FAEMS is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine St. Louis. He will be doing a talk on Hypocalcemia/Hemorrhagic Shock.
Dr. Brian Draper, Mercy Springfield will be doing a talk on Burn trauma.
Dr. Tom Lewis, Mercy ED will be doing a talk on fluid resuscitation.
