MOCEP held the annual Advocacy Day event on February 28 at the Capitol Building in Jefferson City. MOCEP advocated on several issues including scope of practice and postpartum Medicaid benefit extensions. Nearly 20 members participated in the day’s events by visiting with their legislators, hearing from key legislative leaders, and watching the House and Senate in action. This year we partnered with the Missouri Chapter of the American College of Physicians. It was a successful partnership with the internal medicine physicians, and our members were able to meet and get to know some of their members! This is an annual event, so we hope you will take time to join us in 2024!
