Ultrasound in EDs

The ACEP Ultrasound Section is working on identifying the Medical Directors in all Emergency Departments in the US.

They are proceeding in two steps: first, by collecting contact information for ED directors (and department ultrasound directors where applicable) for all EDs in each state. This is where they are asking members to fill in their department director in the spreadsheet here.

This information will be used to query the directors regarding their department ultrasound utilization to identify gaps between academic and non-academic EDs as part of a research study. Directors’ responses will be linked to their zip code only, and completion poses no risks to them or their departments. Your contribution to the spreadsheet is completely voluntary but would be appreciated.
