Join the Missouri Hospital Association as we delve into the current state of the state regarding overdose trends in Missouri. Dr. Heidi Miller, chief medical officer of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, will discuss the drugs most impacting our communities, including alcohol, nitazenes, kratom, and other new and emerging substances. Additionally, information will be shared about one way Missouri is working to increase surveillance and understanding of the drug supply, the Show Me Overdose Data to Action Nonfatal Overdose Biosurveillance Initiative.
