MOCEP Annual General Membership Meeting

 

This year the MOCEP Annual General Membership Meeting will take place in conjunction with the 2016 Tom Steele Emergency Care Symposium in Springfield, MO. The MOCEP Annual General Membership Meeting and events will take place the evening of Thursday, May 5th. The Symposium will take place Thursday, May 5th and Friday, May 6th. All events will be held at the Hammons Heart Institute, 1325 E. Cherokee Street, Springfield.

The schedule of events for the May 5th MOCEP Membership Meeting, elections, and reception will be as follows:

Tom Steele Emergency Care Symposium Details:

Thursday’s sessions will include a hands-on ultrasound lab in the morning followed in the afternoon by the MOCEP general meeting. Obtain CME while supporting our state chapter.

Friday will have educational sessions from 7:30AM-5PM.

From the organizers: “This year’s symposium again will have a broad range of topics important to all facets of emergency care. Each of our speakers are experts in these fields who will add to your needed knowledge base. Emergency Services personnel, including pre-hospital, nurses, respiratory therapists, advanced practitioners and physicians will gain valuable information to help define appropriate care and minimize the risk of preventable complications and death.” Expect speakers to include some of the leaders in Evidence Based Medicine.
Registration fee includes certificate of attendance, a light breakfast, lunch and refreshments at select breaks. Registration by Thursday, April 27, 2016 is encouraged. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from all cancellation requests made before Wednesday, April 27, 2016. No refunds will be made thereafter. If Mercy cancels the symposium a full refund will be issued. The liability of Mercy is limited to the symposium fee. Mercy will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants including, but not limited to, airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits. Layered clothing is recommended to allow for room temperature variations.
